Resume Website

Designed this website in HTML with CSS. Utilized AWS S3 bucket, Route 53, CloudFront CDN, and ACM to host and allow traffic globally to access my site. This is my first step in getting hands on knowledge with AWS services to expand my skills into a wider area of technical expertise.

Debian Network Storage

I created a virtual machine on VMWare Workstation Pro using a secondary PC in my home in which I installed and ran Debian Server to host my network storage access. I then added the storage to my main PC and my Apple Iphone to allow for easy sharing of documents, pictures, and files to all of my devices. This allowed me to learn to create users, permissions, and to utilize Linux commands to install updates and download the necessary library to utilize Samba to creat my network share.

Home Assistant

I created a virtual machine on VMWare Workstation Pro and used the Home Assistant OS as the ISO. This allowed me to conenct to my smartphone app and control all my home smart devices from a singular point. I have connected Zigbee and Z-Wave antennas that allow me to use multiple signal infrastructures to connect a wide variety of devices. I will continue to grow my home network and utilize this to manage my devices in a singular point and create dashboards to view the entire system easily.
